CHILE - From the North of Chile, the focus on territorial development and biocultural heritage, challenges for the Andean Region

Iquique - The North of Chile represents a unique biocultural landscape characterized by extreme contrasts (the Pacific coast, the warm Atacama desert, the fertile valleys and the high plateau in the Andes), located on the borders of Peru, Bolivia And Argentina. In this context we find the Region of Tarapacá, a place where the Andean culture and population represent the base that unites transversally this vast and diverse territory.
