COLOMBIA - Great success of the I International Meeting

Manizales - Caldas University, through its Vicerrectoría de Proyección Universitaria, and the Territorial Development with Cultural Identity Program of RIMISP – Latin American Centre for Rural Development, organized the I International Meeting on Biocultural Heritage and Sustainable Territories and the VI International Workshop on Landscape Studies that took place between 21th and 23th July in Colombia, in the city of Manizales and in the Coffee Cultural Landscape, territory recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site - with the support of the Centre for Sustainable Heritage in Landscapes (OPP), members of the Platform Biocultural Diversity and Territories - Diversity & Development and Slow Food - and ACUA Foundation.

The event saw the participation of more than 300 people coming from 30 territories of 8 departments of Colombia and 5 countries (Bolivia, Chile, Ecuador, France and Italy).
